ANIMA CHRISTI WITH RAWSTHORNE LAST VERSE (Soul of my saviour)

“Soul of my saviour” sung to the tune of ANIMA CHRISTI is a much loved traditional Catholic hymn. It’s a staple at my home parish and the congregation know it from memory. They sing with gusto and aren’t phased by the varied harmony in Rawsthorne’s last verse arrangement. I also thought I’d give you a little insight into what happens prior to Mass with some commentary.
