BUT WHO MAY ABIDE THE DAY OF HIS COMING (Messiah, HWV 56) – Handel ft. TONY LEE


This extract from Handel’s Messiah is a prime example of the soloist’s ability to be musical, yet nimble in their delivery of the text. Not too long ago I uploaded a live performance of the work (link below) and I think it was about time Tony and I uploaded our rendition of the piece. Of course with the facilities of Hauptwerk (St. Mary-le-Bow sample set), I am able to orchestrate the accompaniment (as best as I could!) with some clean sounding organ. Finally, in post-production, I am able to mix both the organ and voice into a recording which you are hearing today.
