Come, Sweet Death (Komm, Süsser Tod) – Johann Sebastian Bach

“Come, Sweet Death” was popularised in the organ world with arrangements by Virgil Fox and Max Reger. The song, for solo voice and basso continuo, is from the 69 Sacred Songs and Arias that Johann Sebastian Bach contributed to Musicalisches Gesangbuch by Georg Christian Schemelli (BWV 478), edited by Schemelli in 1736. This arrangement for organ is an adaption of the Virgil Fox score. I’ve left relevant links below if you’d like a copy yourself.
