Meditation on “Be Thou My Vision” (SLANE) Op. 89 – Vidas Pinkevicius

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! This year I’m playing @Secrets of Organ Playing’s latest composition on the hymn tune, SLANE, which is most often associated with the text “Be Thou My Vision”. The piece features the tune in both the RH and LH, allowing use of two different solo voices. As it’s labelled a meditation, I opted not to go for the Tuba on this occasion! I used the Hereford Cathedral sample set (Lavender Audio) for this recording.
