Prelude on Aberystwyth – Healey Willan

This is a beautiful setting of the Aberystwyth hymn tune by Healey Willan. Following my recent upload of a brand new setting by Vidas Pinkevicius, I decided to look around for another setting. I was so happy to stumble across Willan’s many chorale preludes again and hope to play more of his pieces as liturgically appropriate. The Hauptwerk sample set used for this recording was Hereford Cathedral (Lavender Audio).
