Sortie (très jolly!) – Tim Attride | Hauptwerk Billerbeck

I recently played this piece in a live stream and I didn’t quite do it justice, so I’ve recorded it properly for Tim ????. Tim says: This happy little Sortie, whilst not as extensive as Lefebure-Wely’s more famous pieces, still retains the joyous (dare one almost say irreverent) feeling whilst being more approachable for most parish organists. Already described by colleagues as “Tres Jolly” and an “utterly good-natured piece”, this could work well as a closing voluntary or as a lollipop in a recital.
