VENI CREATOR SPIRITUS, Op. 75 – Flor Peeters

In preparation for the Feast of Pentecost, I have learned Flor Peeters’ Partita on “Veni Creator Spiritus”. Peeters has written many organ works based on Gregorian tunes and this particular one comes from his Op. 75, volume 1 containing 10 pieces. There are two other volumes, each containing 10 works on Gregorian tunes. I’m sure there is a composition available for any moment in the church’s liturgical seasons. My Hauptwerk machine is out of action at present so I have fired up my laptop with @Piotr Grabowski’s Friesach for this recording (an excellent ‘free’ set that loads on a modest computer specification).
